Time to let your creativity run wild!
Get ready for an unforgettable evening as this year’s Liikunta sitsit invite you to dress up inspired by the first letter of your name. Whether you’re Keittomasa, a wine bottle, or a rocket ship, be ready to celebrate!🎉 Dig out an outfit from your closet, a thrift store, or build one yourself and dive headfirst into the sitsit atmosphere. During the evening, you’ll experience the strict discipline of the toastmasters, enjoy great company, and of course the strong sense of community within Liikunta. The title of Liikunta Sitsaaja of the Year will once again be awarded! 💥
The sitsit will take place on Monday, January 26th, 2026, at Aaltosali, starting at 6:30 PM. While the evening is filled with high-spirited fun and celebration, the word of the toastmasters is law and the rules must be followed! Please arrive on time to avoid penalties.‼️ After the sitsit, we will head together to the afterparty at Freetime, where the festivities will continue well into the early hours of the night. 🪩
Ticket sales start on Monday, January 12th at 10:00 AM via Kide.App and end on Friday, January 16th at midnight (or earlier if tickets sell out). Ticket prices are €17 for Sporticus members and €22 for non-members. The ticket includes entry to the event, half a pizza, an overall patch, and free entry to the afterparty at Freetime (cloakroom not included). You can indicate any special dietary requirements when purchasing your ticket.
Please note! Due to reasons beyond our control, Sporticus will not be providing alcohol at the sitsit. The evening will therefore be organized entirely according to the BYOB principle. 🍻

As you pedal to your morning workout, your breath turns to mist and your fingers start to freeze. The temperature is flirting with the minus sign, and it’s about time to dig out those winter jackets. The end of October is near, and that can only mean one thing…

…but most importantly, the celebrations continue!
Dear freshmen, it’s time to officially baptize you as members of the sports community. Rumor has it that a few familiar heroes from past years might make a surprise appearance… 👀 (Hint hint, upper-year students – there’s still time to join the plotting for this legendary night!)
This year’s theme is Heroes and Villains!
Despite the darkness and the freezing cold, put on your best costume and party spirit — the best outfit will be rewarded! 🔥
The event kicks off at 4:30 PM on the Mattilanniemi lawn area. Be on time, or face the consequences! You’ll need at least:
2 x 0.33L canned drinks
Warm clothes
A swimsuit
Flip-flops 😎
The actual baptism will take place around 8 PM, after which it’s time to head to Opinkivi sauna or home to warm up — before the night peaks at the afterparty in Escape! 🎉
Entry to Escape costs €2, and tickets will be available on Kide.App starting Monday, October 20th at 10 AM.
On the event day, Escape’s doors open at 10 PM, and the program starts at 11 PM!
