SPORTICUS MERCH SALE IN SEPTEMBER:
Wed 6.9. at 11:30-12:30
The sale will take place in the Liikunta lobby. Sale of Sporticus socks, canvas bags and overall patches.
THE SPORTICUS MEMBERSHIP REGISTER HAS BEEN MOVED TO KIDE.APP
The Sporticus membership register moved to kide.app during the summer! Each member is required to self-activate their membership in kide.app to access member-priced events and products. Your Sporticus membership will be visible to you in your kide.app wallet and you will be able to edit and update your membership information conveniently through your membership card itself.
NOTE! Membership activation only applies to people who have previously purchased their membership via Holvi. Members who have purchased directly from kide.app do not need to activate their membership separately, it will take effect immediately after purchase.
Please remember that people who have previously purchased a membership from Holvi do not need to purchase a membership again from kide.app, but only need to activate it!

Events of September
Mon 4th of Sept, FRESHMEN PARTY
The summer is beginning to fade behind us, and slowly it’s time to return to Liikunta… Which, of course, means that all the fun stuff is only going to start now – soon you’ll be able to dig out again your overalls that have been buried in the back of your closet since Vappu and put them on again!
The Freshmen Party will once again bring the Liikunta family together, and at the same time, the freshmen will get a taste of the traditions of Liikunta. Students from other years will, on the other hand, be pondering the annual questions: What are the opening hours of Ilokivi? Is there coffee at OT (student lounge)? Which freshman will make the most spectacular entrance? How many new faces will find their way to the Freshmen party of this year? Who will be the karaoke star(s) of the night?
As usual, these legendary parties will take place on Monday, September 4th, at the nightclub London. The doors will open at 22:00, there will be a program at 23:00, and the party will continue until the early morning hours! Entry for Sporticus members is €3, and for non-members, it’s €6 (+ cloak room fee). Ticket sales on kide.app! No ticket sales from the doors. Mon 11th of Sept, LIIKUNTA’S ULTRA MYTHICAL ADVENTURE IN THE WOODS
It’s time to see which of the new students have what it takes to survive their oncoming time at Liikunta. This test takes place on the traditional, even legendary Metsäretki!
We will meet at Kampuksen kenttä on Monday the 11th of September at 16.45, from where we’ll move to the location of the epic adventure. To prevent being punished, be there on time and bring 5€ in cash to pay for the whole experience. Remember to bring looooots of warm clothes, enough food and drinks to survive until the sun rises. And of course if you wish to be favored by the trolls in the woods, bring great bribes…

THE TRADITIONAL SPORTICUS EVENT OF SEPTEMBER, TENTTARIT (date to be confirmed on Sporticus social media)
Although the exam days are gone with the wind, the so called “tenttarit” parties will remain on Sporticus programme! Earlier this year, Finnish woman Satu Lipiäinen ran a world record 12-hour ultra run of 153.6km. Are there any Sporticus members out there to challenge this fierce result? We’ll find out this in the September tenttarit when the Sporticus running challenge kicks off! The motto ”Not the destination, but the journey” will be the spirit of these tenttarit. Get your team ready already and stay tuned to the Sporticus social media channels for future info on the event
